Our Vision

At TH.E. School, we believe that entrepreneurial education offers the best possibility for young black boys to grow with this educational program, and construct a self-sustaining, just and democratic society in our globalized and intercultural world; as an alternative to the current intolerable outcomes that are statistically normal for this population.

How Do We Do What We Do?

To turn young black boys into business owners, TH.E. School will provide a differentiated, academically rigorous curriculum to 5th through 12th grade students.  The young men will begin to live on campus beginning their 5th grade year and graduate from the 12th grade as business owners.  The students will remain with a single primary instructor from 5-12th grades, allowing for continuity and consistency while allowing this instructor to serve as a mentor/father figure for those who may not have a stable home environment. These business owner graduates in turn, will help support TH.E. School.

Perseverance

Perserverance

TH.E School begins from the idea that success derives from receiving the right tools to succeed through entrepreneurship. We foster a safe learning environment that stimulates ambition and professionalism as a means of encouraging each student to reach his full potential as a contributing member of society.

Learning Skills

Learning Skills

TH.E. School provides specialized learning and life skills in an attempt to compensate for what may be structural deficiencies in the home lives of these young scholars.  This provides for a fuller and more effective education through a learning environment that stimulates critical thought and growth creating well rounded, capable, positive, professional, ethical young business owners.

Social Skills

Social Skills

At T.H.E. School, we enable young black men traditionally at risk for gang involvement and other criminality to access a complete and holistic educational program including access to social, relational, and academic resources allowing them the advantage of a rigorous academic program focused on entrepreneurship.
